The long weekend is here. Memorial Day Weekend is a time to remember all the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the United States. Those men and women died in the line of duty defending us, defending our freedoms.
This weekend is a time to be thankful for our country, the freedoms we enjoy and the life of promise we can have because of so many who have given their life for our country. They unselfishly signed up for what ultimately meant a life cut short. I say thank you to those families who have had to mourn that great loss. I say thank you to the fellow soldiers who watched their compadre fall.

As a result, I am honored to meet a lot of vets who take our Freight Broker Training and other courses at no cost to them. We enjoy encouraging their start at a new life after their military service. I get to hear stories of their buddies who didn’t make it out. They are thankful to be alive, but also challenged to understand why they still have their life when others don’t.
