We were so honored to have Army Ranger Vet and Purple Heart recipient, Juan S. as a student at Brooke Training Solutions. Grateful for the dedicated service he gave to our country and for the chance to help him start his new career path as a freight broker, we have little doubt that this proud vet is destined for much success in whatever he sets his mind to. Here’s a few words from Juan himself about his experience in our class.
Before attending Brooke Training Solution, I was very eager to learn as much as possible about what it entails to be a Freight Broker. After completing the training, the teachers and the program had exceeded all the expectations I had about this program. I was able to learn from teachers like Mr. Drake Sliver who has 40 years of experience and Mr. Jeff Roach who has 35 years of experience. Not only did they help me by passing down valuable knowledge, they made it apparent that I can become successful in this business.
I was able to take the advanced class which allowed me to obtain one on one time with each of the teachers. This one on one time provided hands-on experience with setting up loads and making sales, which I found to be very helpful because it gave me a sense of what it would be like once I start my own freight brokerage firm.
I also had the opportunity to meet Mr. and Mrs. Roach, who are the founders of this program. They were very welcoming and I am looking forward to working with them in the near future. Overall, I would recommend anyone who is interested in becoming a freight broker to attend this program because it is like no other and you would not receive the same experience anywhere else. -J.C.S
